Housing Program
Second Chance Haven is creating shared homes in North Mississippi where older adults, veterans, and disabled neighbors can live safely, comfortably, and with dignity. Each home is designed to bring people together, not separate them.
Every home we open is a step toward restoring community, connection, and compassion across Mississippi.
During the initial launch phase, residents will receive assistance connecting with community meal resources, benefits coordination, and local support programs. As operations expand through grant funding and partnerships, Second Chance Haven will add on-site services such as meal assistance, transportation to essential appointments, and community engagement activities to enhance residents’ quality of life.
Our focus includes:
Safe, affordable shared housing in dorm-style rooms
Support for individuals on SSI/SSDI and fixed incomes
Transitional stability for older and disabled adults, including veterans
A respectful, structured environment that promotes independence
Reentry support for formerly incarcerated neighbors seeking a fresh start
