Housing Program

Second Chance Haven LLC is preparing to provide safe, stable shared housing for older adults, disabled adults, and veterans in North Mississippi who are living on limited incomes. Our homes will offer dorm-style shared rooms designed to promote independence, comfort, and community. We also welcome neighbors returning from the justice system who are ready to safely rebuild their lives in the community. The program is structured to deliver supportive living in a secure, well-maintained environment that helps residents rebuild their lives with dignity and stability.

During the initial launch phase, residents will receive assistance connecting with community meal resources, benefits coordination, and local support programs. As operations expand through grant funding and partnerships, Second Chance Haven will add on-site services such as meal assistance, transportation to essential appointments, and community engagement activities to enhance residents’ quality of life.

Our focus includes:

• Safe, affordable shared housing in dorm-style rooms

• Support for individuals on SSI/SSDI and fixed incomes

• Transitional stability for older and disabled adults, including veterans

• A respectful, structured environment that promotes independence

• Reentry support for formerly incarcerated neighbors seeking a fresh start
